Together we read short, contemporary French books with clear and beautiful prose that offer a window into different perspectives and aspects of French culture and life.
The book club is about fostering curiosity, and the pleasure of exchanging ideas within a supportive community, and all in French!
Through your study guides and in our online discussion, we'll dive into the text and your impressions and analyses.
What is particular about this author's prose? How does literature reflect themes such as family, society, memory or identity? What do you think of the characters and their choices? What new cultural and historical references have you learned? In what ways does the story resonate with you and your experiences?
